Record turnover: Hengst Filtration looks back on a successful 2023

With growth of eleven percent, the filtration specialist continues to drive its transformation forward.

Münster. Hengst Filtration has closed 2023 with a new record turnover and feels vindicated in its transformation strategy. The internationally active filtration specialist from Münster, Germany generated group-wide sales of 727 million euros, exceeding the previous year's result by eleven percent.

2023 was already a year full of challenges, which is why we are very happy with this result. The current times are not easy for industrial companies like us, which is why we are continuing to work on our transformation from an automotive supplier to a filtration specialist in many areas. Our goal remains to make the planet cleaner and achieve good business results in the process.

In 2023, the traditional Engine and Mobile Filtration and Independent Aftermarket business units for automotive applications recorded the strongest sales growth - clearly bucking the market trend. The Industrial Air Filtration division, which is newer to Hengst, also grew by ten percent, thanks in part to the successful integration of existing and new subsidiaries such as Linter Filtros Industriais from Brazil.

In general, a good development can be seen outside the home market of Europe. The driver here is the Asia-Pacific region, which grew by 34% compared to 2022. Both growth outside Europe and in the area of air filtration are signs of a well-functioning transformation process.
